The Importance of Mobile Marketing Content to Your Strategy

Mobile marketing isn’t just a convenient, “bonus” element of online advertising anymore.  It’s a necessity.  If you want to be able to remain competitive, catering to smartphone and tablet carrying consumers is absolutely critical.

That said, if you’re not already looking into the wonderful world of mobile commerce, then your competitors may already have a growing advantage over you.  The time to start creating your own smaller screen-friendly content is right now.  Alright, officially, it was last year or the year before, but now is what you have to work with, so go with it.

If you’ve never worked with mobile marketing before, then you should know that it isn’t just a matter of making sure that your existing website can be viewed on a smaller screen.  It should start with a completely mobile optimized site – which is much less daunting than it sounds – and expand to social media such as Facebook and Twitter – and then grow to other elements such as location based strategies, QR codes, and digital coupons.

As soon as you get started in mobile marketing, you’ll realize that it is a very unique, direct, and very relevant way to interact with customers and provide them with a reason to look into your brand or products at precisely the moment that they are most likely to be interested in shopping. It is highly personal and very cost effective.  That is…it is if your content has been created properly.

If you aren’t able to create your mobile marketing content – product descriptions, social media posts, blogs, product reviews, and smartphone friendly web text, for example – in-house, it’s a good idea to hire a professional online writer who is both knowledgeable and experienced in that area.  This will make sure that you get the very most out of each of your campaigns.

Amanda Giasson Has Reached Her Cancer Fundraiser Goal!

JBC Online writer, Amanda Giasson, has already reached her fundraiser goal of $500 for the Canadian Cancer Society.  In fact, she's beaten it by $20!

That's great news, but what is even better is that there is still lots of time to do your part and help in the battle against this terrible disease.

Amanda will be chopping off her hair on June 7, 2013, to donate it to the Beautiful Lengths program, where it will be used to make a wig that a cancer patient can wear while she is undergoing chemotherapy. To do even more, she is also raising money that will be used to fund cancer research and assistance programs.

Help JBC Online Writer, Amanda Giasson, Raise Money for the Fight Against Cancer

Amanda Giasson, a proud member of the JBC Online writing team, is holding a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.

She will be cutting off her very long, gorgeous hair on June 7 in order to donate it to the Beautiful Lengths program, where it will be turned into a wig for a cancer suffer.

Amanda is asking that we all come together and support her in this important and touching effort by making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.  She is hoping to achieve her goal of $500 by the date of her hair cut, so please help the JBC Online writers and generous customers in helping her to reach that goal.

In some way or another, we've all been affected by cancer, and it is opportunities like this that give us the chance to fight back.
